Crossing the streams again. A post at my other blog is mainly about a visit to a former Cold War weapons testing facility at Orford Ness in Suffolk, but it might also be of interest to art people because it contains a low-flying stealth review of some work by Jane and Louise Wilson which was commissioned to go in a few of the buildings. As I say over at the link, generally speaking I like J & L Wilson’s work, aesthetic and mannerisms a lot but what they did at the Ness was a bit weak and quite problematic in itself, in the context of such a weird and striking heritage site, and in light of it receiving so much public funding. Anyway, read the thing:
