This is a great opportunity for an artist who is willing to give their all and present the kind of challenging work that can sometimes lead to them getting it in the neck. The deadline already passed for this year, but they’re definitely always looking for new blood.

Hi Alistair, I had to think of you when my artist friends scathingly posted a current ‘opportunity’ on facebook for a chance to work (for free) “…Internship/PA to Important Art Director & Curator in London…” as advertised at ArtsHub
The job description is a scream, the employer is “Moniker Projects/Art Fair” or some such – link to their website and you get what looks like a holding page, not dissimilar to the stuff the team used to rig up in the TV series Hustle… Please do take a look!

Yes, many of us have been laughing a lot about this via Facebook and Twitter this evening.

You must also be able to pat your head and rub your tummy at the same time.

HP Lovecraft: “I talked in Yemen with an old man who had come back from the Crimson Desert— he had seen Irem, the City of Pillars, and had worshipped at the underground shrines of Nug and Yeb— Iä! Artshub-Co’uk!”

Personally, I would be much more interested in applying for the Master Residency in the Carpathians – could you direct me to the link please?

Send €25 application fee to R.M.Renfield c/o Carfax Asylum. A swirling, clammy mist with burning, hypnotic eyes will knock on your window after sundown to assess your portfolio. When it asks to be let in you must invite it verbally or your application will be invalidated.
